In response to the firm’s on service standing website, it seems to be affecting gaming streaming, PlayStation Store and PlayStation Direct.
“You may need problem launching games, apps or community features,” the location says.

Relating to PlayStation Retailer, it says: “You may need problem getting merchandise in PlayStation Store.”
This means you won't have the ability to purchase, obtain, browse, search or redeem vouchers.
It’s not yet clear what is behind the outage.
A surge in stories was detected on the Down Detector website from around 7am GMT / 2am ET.
