“One or two gamers are clearly annoyed, like Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who has missed out on the last three Premier League matchday squads and was excluded from Chelsea’s updated 25-man listing for the Champions League. But this was a choice made by both Potter with the board’s backing.

“I feel Raheem Sterling was a bit uncomfortable when requested to play at wing-back and Mason Mount hasn’t found his scoring type of final season.

“However none of this means there is a mutiny towards the supervisor. It’s actually more a by-product of Chelsea’s squad being too massive and the group lacking a bit of confidence and id.”

Chelsea have not gained any of their final 5 games in all competitions.

Potter might be trying to end that run on Sunday when his aspect travel to Tottenham.
